Description:

The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Construct Hospital Annex for Ambulatory Surgery Center project at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.

The Project will construct a new, 151,000 GSF, hospital annex specializing in cardiology and oncology. This state-of-the-art facility will include a surgical suite with five operating rooms (ORs), one hybrid OR, and 18 pre-and post-op beds. It also will feature a cardiology suite with catheterization labs and interventional radiology, and an oncology suite equipped with infusion rooms, advanced imaging, and a linear accelerator. Core support and public spaces, as well as a surface parking lot next to the new facility will also be provided.

It is preferred that the selected Consultant will have expertise in Lean Methodology for Healthcare Design. The Consultant will also provide expertise in sustainable design to achieve New York State, SUNY and Construction Fund goals regarding energy efficiency and carbon neutrality. The design may target LEED and WELL Building certifications.

The construction value is estimated to be between $425 million - $494 million.

Once registered, consultants will receive an email with the applicable Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the link to upload your Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) at the submission deadline.

SOQs must be submitted in the format prescribed by the Fund using the link provided in the email received after registration that supplies the RFQ.
