1. Introduction

The Town of Maidstone is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for the Waseca Water Well Project, as outlined in the engineering report. The selected firm will be responsible for to provide engineering design, tendering, project management, and construction supervision services required to connect the newly drilled well (Well ID Pw7-24) to the existing pump house and upgrade the pumphouse systems as necessary to accommodate the new well.

The well and distribution building are located approximately 1.5 kilometres south of Waseca, SK along Hwy 684 (SE-32-47-24-W3), and are approximately 170 metres apart.

2. Background

The Town of Maidstone has identified the need to develop a new water well to ensure long-term supply and reliability of potable water for residents and businesses. The engineering report (WM605.1 Report) outlines the technical requirements, project scope, and recommended steps necessary to move forward with this project.
