RFP # 25251014 FNSB Signal & Plug-Ins Design Services

The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Division of Preconstruction Services is soliciting professional engineering services for following project: FNSB Signal & Plug-Ins Design Services (FAST NR Signal Interconnect – Stage 2, design and extend the signal interconnect system six intersections and connect them to the Traffic Operations Center. NR Accessible Pedestrian Signals Upgrades, design accessible pedestrian signals (APS) at 71 intersections in Fairbanks, North Pole, and Nenana Canyon. FAST Fairbanks & North Pole Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and FAST North Pole City Hall and Pioneer Park Plug-Ins, design electrical vehicle charging stations at nine locations located in the Cities of Fairbanks and North Pole. Design head bolt outlets at two locations in the cities of Fairbanks and North Pole.)

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately February 2026 through December2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 and $1,999,000.

(for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment).  There is no charge for the RFP package.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than FEBRUARY 12, 2026 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The Northern Region Contracts Section will accept electronic (Zendto) submission of proposals.
