2025 Annual Water Service Line Replacement Bid

Sealed bids for 2025 Annual Water Service Line Replacement, will be received at 100 South Russell St. Portland TN, 37148 until 2:00 PM Central Standard Time, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids submitted prior to the bid opening should be sent to Patsy Thornton, Portland Purchasing Agent, 100 South Russell St, Portland TN, 37148.

The project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing services throughout the City of Portland. Services vary in size from ¾” to 1”.

The Instructions to Bidders, Contract Agreement, Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following:

All bids must be made out on the Bid Form in the contract documents, and the Bid Form should not be detached from the contract documents.

All bidders shall be a bonded and licensed Municipal Utility Contractor within the State of Tennessee. Must Provide copy of Municipal Contractors License.

All Bidders shall comply with the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976 and as amended (TCA Title 62).

The City of Portland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of City of Portland, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.

Bids must remain in effect for (60) days after the bid opening date.
