Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW 13.106(b) to obtain a full-service agreement on existing Hill-Rom Care Assist, Progressa, and Centrella beds.
Period of performance:
Base: 5/13/2025-5/12/2026
Option 1: 5/13/2026-5/12/2027
Option 2: 5/13/2027-5/12/2028
Option 3: 5/13/2028-5/12/2029
Option 4: 5/13/2029-5/12/2030
Basic description of the requirement: The VA New York Harbor Health Care System is currently seeking for a service contract for the maintenance and repair of 18 Hill-Rom Care Assist beds, 25 Hill-Rom Progressa Beds, and 40 Hill-Rom Centrella beds, located in VAMC Brooklyn and St Albans CLC. The contract will have a length of a base period and 4 option years. This Full-Service contract is to include all necessary labor, full service, maintenance, tools, equipment, transportation, and parts (excluding non-Hill-Rom parts) required to perform repair and Preventive Maintenance (PM) on the Progressa and Centrella beds. The Care Assist beds will receive Partial-Service with only Preventative Maintenance available due to the age of the beds and parts availability. Vendors must have their own schematics available on site at time of service.
All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer and by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trained certified technicians. Vendor must have manufacturer certification to service and maintain the devices and have access to OEM parts, manuals, and schematics to perform the service. The OEM does not authorize any other party to service their equipment. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities and certifications of providing Hill-Rom OEM servicing.

The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.

The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
