Supply and Delivery of Total Organic Carbon Analyzer
Synopsis:
The Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation requests proposals for the supply and installation of a Total Organic Carbon Analyzer (TOC) and of peripherals for automatic sample introduction. The purpose of the system is to analyze total, dissolved (DOC), and inorganic carbon (IC) in raw, various treatment processes, and drinking water (reference methods: Standard Methods (SM) 5310 B or 5310 C). The system will be capable of: carbon separation, capture, identification, quantification; and data handling. Routine maintenance must be analyst friendly, not time consuming, and be supported by technical assistance provided by the Manufacturer(s). The TOC system will replace an existing TOC by Persulphate Ultraviolet Oxidation Method (SM 5310C) system.
The TOC system will be located at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant laboratory in the rural municipality of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
The treatment plant is located on Hwy #301, 17 km north of Hwy #1, approximately 30 km from Moose Jaw and 80 km from Regina.
