2025-014 Consulting Services for New Financial Management Software

The Town of Salem NH is accepting proposals from qualified consultants for consulting services in drafting a request for proposals and implementing new financial management software.  The Town currently uses MuniSmart as its financial accounting software, and is seeking a consultant to prepare the request for proposals document as well as assist the town with the transition to the new financial software.   The Town also intends on creating a new chart of accounts as part of this process.  The modules for the financial management software would include: general ledger, payroll (ideally a Human Resources Information System), accounts receivable, utilities (water and sewer), accounts payable, bank reconciliation, cash receipting, purchase orders, property taxes, budgeting, and fixed assets.

All proposals must be  received  by  *October 15, 2025,   at  9:30  AM EST.   Late proposals will not be considered. A pre-proposal meeting will not be conducted.

Seven (7) copies  of  the  proposal package must be submitted in a sealed envelope
