ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the EXETER AVENUE SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT will be received online via the PennBid Program, by WEST PITTSTON BOROUGH, until 10:30 AM local time on August 18, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and shortly after which, will be publicly posted on Penn Bid’s website. The Project consists of excavation, replacement of existing sanitary sewer main, storm inlet lateral reconnections, installation of sanitary sewer manhole and trench restoration. Work includes a car detour and a separate truck detour plan. The project is located along Exeter Avenue (SR 0092) at the intersection of Exeter Avenue and Warren Street in West Pittston, Luzerne County, PA.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum bases as indicated in the Bid Form.

A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract.
