Project Description: Carroll Valley Borough is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed general contractors for the construction of a new 7' x 7' ADA-compliant public restroom building with an exterior concrete pad at Carroll Commons Park, 5685 Fairfield Road, Fairfield, PA. This
project is being funded by a Local Share Account (LSA) Grant. The building will serve park visitors and supplement existing facilities. The Borough is considering two construction methods and is requesting pricing for both, so that the Borough may select the option that best fits its budget and long-term maintenance goals:
● Option A — CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit / split-face block) construction
● Option B — Conventional wood-frame (stick-built) construction
Both options share the same footprint, door, roof system, plumbing fixtures, and site work — they differ primarily in wall construction and interior/exterior wall finishes.
