Plumbing Services, RFQ 683922

The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a licensed Plumbing Contractor to provide plumbing and gas fitting repairs, installations, maintenance, and remodeling services for County-owned, leased, and non-County facilities on an as-needed basis. The selected contractor must have the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including responding to at least three (3) emergency jobs at once if required. Since specific projects are not pre-defined, the contractor must be prepared to undertake a wide range of plumbing-related tasks, both emergency and non-emergency. The County anticipates awarding up to (2) two contracts to qualified contractors capable of delivering the full scope of services outlined in this IFB. Each contract will have an initial (1) one-year term, with the option for up to (5) five additional one (1)-year renewals.

These contracts will primarily cover small to medium-sized projects, with most Task Orders ranging from $2,000 to $50,000, though some may be as low as $1,000. Task Orders are generally not expected to exceed $250,000. In this contract, a Loudoun County "Purchase Order" is equivalent to a "Task Order." The County does not guarantee a specific volume of work to any awarded contractor under this IFB.
