Description: Dynamic US, Inc. (Dynamic), acting as agent for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), is seeking qualifications from firms to be considered for a forthcoming bid solicitation for the VCCUNY Damper Replacement Project at Kingsborough Community College (KCC). The project consists of ten (10) campus buildings and includes the replacement of existing air handling unit (AHU) dampers and/or actuator assemblies, along with associated abatement, and proper disposal of all removed materials. Where required, ductwork modifications and insulation replacement shall be performed to support proper operation of the new assemblies. All environmental abatement activities will be required to occur after normal campus hours, while the remaining scope of work will take place during regular work hours in occupied campus buildings. Work will require careful planning of shutdowns, potential temporary air provisions, safety measures, and detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to minimize operational disruptions. Interested firms shall submit a Statement of Qualifications and a New York State Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (VRQ) for evaluation and shortlist consideration. Firms must demonstrate relevant, successful experience including a minimum of three (3) completed projects of similar size and scope within the past eight (8) years, and a minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience. Dynamic and DASNY reserve the right to review financial data, investigate qualifications, require additional supporting documentation, and reject submissions that do not demonstrate sufficient capability, resources, and past performance. Evaluation will focus on project experience, staffing depth, occupied-facility proficiency, and overall responsibility. Shortlisted firms will receive the Bid Solicitation, which will include MBE, WBE and SDVOB participation requirements. The successful bidder will be required to submit a project-specific MBE/WBE/SDVOB Utilization Plan and demonstrate the ability to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds. Only shortlisted firms will receive bid documents, and only firms attending the mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be eligible to submit a bid. The estimated cost is $2.5+ Million.
