Summary The Department of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes for weed control and fertilization of lawn for the Richard Beard Building located at 1445 Federal Drive Montgomery, AL 36107. Vendors must submit their bids in the Alabama Buys portal to participate in the solicitation. Vendors who need assistance with submitting their quote may contact the Alabama Buys helpdesk at (334) 353-0700. *There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for February 6, 2025 at 9:00 am CST. Interested vendors must attend mandatory site visit to be considered for award* Site Visit Location : 1445 Federal Drive, Montgomery, AL 36107. Site Visit Contact Person : Michael Frazier (334) 240-7150. Specifications : Vender must provide weed control and fertilization for 91,000 square feet of lawn. Awarded vendor must perform three applications which will consist of pre and post emergent herbicides to control both crabgrass and other various summer weeds while also providing weed control for annual and other cool season weeds. *Awarded vendor must contact agency contact person to schedule each lawn treatment prior to performing service* Treatments must be performed during the following months: First Treatment: Winter/Spring - March 2025 Second Treatment: Summer - August 2025 Valid Period: February 2025 - September 30, 2025
