ITB 230000534-8 STWD Backup Power - FCC Generator

The Department of Corrections is soliciting for sealed bids from qualified contractors to decommission an existing generator, and supply and install a new generator located at the Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC), as described within Section 01000 of the ITB.  Location of Work will be at Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Bids will be received until April 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. Bids will be opened at 802 3rd Street, Suite 220, Douglas, Alaska 99824.

A pre-bid site visit is highly recommended, and is scheduled for March 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.  Interested vendors must contact the Project Manager:  Shawn Ratliff, (907) 269-7035, to register for the inspection and submit the “Clearance Form and PREA Form” to the security agent to run a background check to allow access to the facility.  The form must be filled out for everyone attending the site visit and must be submitted 72 hours in advance.  Clearance Form is included in the bid packet.  Email your form to shawn.ratliff@alaska.gov .
