LEGAL NOTICE
Official notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington
Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532 until 11:00 AM. local time on June 03, 2026, at which time they will be publicly
opened and read aloud for the following:
BID NO: # 1431
DEBRIS AND MATERIALS HAULING
The work consists of transport and disposal of spoils generated in the course of normal Municipal
operations. Debris material may consist of spoils from utility work (clay, topsoil, aggregate, etc.),
concrete, asphalt, street sweepings, snow and other materials which may not be separated. Hauling of
hazardous materials is not included in this scope of work.
Plans, specifications and bid forms may be obtained online at the Village’s website here:
https://www.villageoflisle.org/bids.aspx or Demandstar.com. Any addenda issued for this bid will be
issued and posted on at the Village’s website or Demandstar.com on, or before, 3 days prior to the bid
opening at 11:00 AM on June 02, 2026. It is the bidders responsibility to check at the Village’s website
or Demandstar.com for any issued addenda.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier’s Check made payable to the Village
of Lisle for not less than five percent of the bid amount. No proposals or bids will be considered unless
accompanied by such bond or check.
All work under this Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et
seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made by the Illinois Department of Labor for public works
projects in DuPage County and can be accessed by computer at: http://labor.illinois.gov/.
The Village of Lisle reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to
accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure
to make such a disclosure will not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any bidder
against the Village of Lisle.
The contractor selected will also be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws,
rules, regulations and executive orders including but not limited to those pertaining to equal employment
opportunity.

II. Village Optional Renewal Year 1 – 2027 Construction (Bidder enter % increase)
The rates for services listed for the Optional Renewal Year 1 – 2027 Construction will not increase
more than _____ % over the BASE BID ITEMS – 2026 Construction Contract period. The Village,
in its sole discretion, may extend the Contract for this one-year term to begin on May 1, 2027 and
concluding April 30, 2028. No escalations or additional surcharges will be permitted apart from
the percentage increases that are bid here.
III. Village Optional Renewal Year 2 – 2028 Construction (Bidder enter % increase)
The rates for services listed for the Optional Renewal Year 2– 2028 Construction will not increase
more than _____ % over the Optional Renewal Year 1– 2027 Construction Contract period. The
Village, in its sole discretion, may extend the contract for this one-year term to begin on May 1,
2028 and concluding April 30, 2029. No escalations or additional surcharges will be permitted

The rates for services listed for the Optional Renewal Year 3– 2029 Construction will not increase

The bid must be placed in a sealed envelope with the Project Label and addressed to the Village of
Lisle, 925 Burlington Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532, Attention: Customer Service. It is the sole
responsibility of the bidder to see that its bid is received in proper time. Oral bids or oral
modifications to bids will not be considered. No faxed or e-mail bid or modification of a bid will
be considered. The Village is not responsible for the premature opening of bids not marked as
required. Any bid opened prematurely due to the failure of the bidder to mark the envelope in
accordance with these Bid Documents will be considered non-responsive.
