The contractor shall construct a new well at the Negrito Fire Base to replace the existing well system, which was deemed
irreparable due to a crushed drop pipe and fallen pitless adaptor. Work shall include but is not limited to: drilling, casing
installation, surface prep, and complete assembly of a functional water system according to NMED Standards. All work
must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The well should be as close as to the existing well as
possible/feasible and should be connected into the existing distribution system. Contractor is responsible for all labor,
tools, equipment, permitting, and materials. This solicitation replaces a prior solicitation that was canceled following award due to awardee withdrawlal.
