Vendor to supply various wet charged maintenance free batteries to the various stations for the Division

of Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

All batteries must meet the Battery Council International (BCI), Storage Battery Specifications and

Battery Materials Specifications, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 quality requirements

All delivered battery are to be new, unused and of the latest design and technology

The Division of Motor Vehicle Maintenance has found AC Delco brand batteries to be satisfactory, and

all numbers listed below for evaluation purposes are AC Delco product numbers. If it is the intention of

the bidder to bid an alternate brand, prior approval should be obtained from the Division of Motor

Vehicle Maintenance located at 4150 E. 49th Street, Bldg. 1, Cleveland, OH 44105, (216) 420-8100.

Automotive style batteries are to be non-accessible to individual cells

Commercial style batteries are to be anchor bonded

Battery cores are to be picked up whenever necessary and global recycling requirements of ISO 14001

are to be met.

Bidders are to bid DELIVERED price. Core charge is to be bid separate in the space indicated. All listed

items are to be bid.

Bidders are to include a current price list and indicate how the City is priced. (for example, 10% off list,

or, Dealer cost + 15%)

Battery specifications are to be included with pricelists.

The following list is not all encompassing and final, it is meant for evaluation purposes, and prices are to

be verifiable by supplied price list.
