In accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the City of Bradenton, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive proposals on the date indicated in OpenGov for the purpose of selecting a qualified Proposers to provide Capital Improvement Project Management Services on an as-needed basis for an initial term of three years. The selected Proposer(s) will work as an extension of City’s Project Management staff and shall be assigned projects pertaining to the planning, design and construction services of the City’s Capital Improvement Program.
Projects may be funded by the City, by SWFWMD , by the FDEP, by the USEPA, by other agencies or by a combination of funding sources. Projects funded in whole or part with non-City funds shall be designated in conformance with the funding agency’s requirements.
The City has a multitude of CIP projects (25+) in the queue for potable water, stormwater, and sanitary systems during the next five years. In order to effectively and successfully manage design, permitting, and construction, additional professional resources, beyond City staff, are required. The consultant project manager(s) will work City project managers to coordinate projects from design through construction close out.
