The Marin Housing Authority (MHA) is a public corporation that provides affordable, safe, decent housing for low- to moderate-income Marin County, California, residents.

MHA owns and manages federally assisted housing rental properties that include a mix of public housing; tax credit; public housing/tax credit (mixed finance); and Section 8 Project based/tax credit affordable rental units, all of which are located in Marin County, California. MHA's primary revenue is received through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

MHA is soliciting proposals from qualified professionals (individuals, firms, or teams) to provide development consulting services in support of the planning, financing, and execution of affordable housing initiatives across MHA’s portfolio.

MHA is undertaking a range of redevelopment and rehabilitation efforts aimed at preserving affordable housing opportunities for low-income households, seniors, and individuals with special needs throughout Marin County. The selected consultant will provide strategic guidance, technical expertise, and project management support to help MHA advance complex real estate transactions, secure competitive funding, evaluate development options, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, in alignment with federal, state, and local requirements. MHA seeks a partner with demonstrated experience in affordable housing development who can assist the agency in moving multiple projects from concept to completion.
