The Library of Congress seeks unified storage system for its Tier-1 and Tier-2 data that provides both Block and NAS storage. These systems will be hosted in Library's (On-Prem) datacenters and will be used to store and manage Library’s applications data to include:
VMWare Datastores
Multiple databases
Splunk Data/Indexes
Application data hosted on Linux and Windows that require disaster recovery ability
Network file shares (NFS, CIFS and Mixed-Protocol)
Other salient characteristics, per the attached.
