    The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension intends to continue its service support agreement for verification services with Hamilton Company .

    Service coverage includes:

    • Priority dispatch for contract customers
    • Target response time of 24 hours for a down instrument
    • Guaranteed response time of 48 hours for a down instrument
    • Guaranteed call-back time of 4 hours
    • Parts, travel, and labor costs
    • Option to add verification services for Hamilton Starlet D969

    This service has been deemed a sole source purchase because Hamilton Company is the exclusive provider of replacement parts, proprietary software upgrades, Hamilton-factory-trained and authorized service representatives, Hamilton Service Agreements, and all escalation and service support for the Microlab® platforms STAR™, NIMBUS®, and VANTAGE® . Hamilton provides factory expertise, including potential replacement of major components when necessary.

    Damage, part replacement, or increased service time resulting from the use of third-party consumables (e.g., non-Hamilton tips), unauthorized software, or non-Hamilton repairs are not covered under any Hamilton Warranty or Service Agreement. These agreements explicitly exclude damage from service performed by any third party.
