The Minnesota Department of Commerce intends to purchase calibration service of our Rail Master Scale. Our Weights & Measures Division has determined no other vendor can perform this service other than the USDA Federal Grain Inspection Service. The USDA Federal Grain Inspection Service is the only known vendor with a rail car setup with a test cart and sufficient test weights to calibrate this scale.
