Project Description: NOTE TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: This Design-Build Project solicitation will be conducted in two (2) phases as further described in the solicitation documents. Phase 1 of the solicitation is a Request for Qualifications and Phase 2 of the solicitation will be a Request for Proposals, limited to those short-listed persons invited to submit Proposals. More information about this multi-phase process can be found in the solicitation documents.
The Incorporated County of Los Alamos (“County”) is seeking design‑build services for the development of a Bike Park and associated amenities, as identified generally in Phase 1 of the North Mesa Recreation Master Plan, included in this solicitation as Attachment 1.1, available for download on the County’s Procurement Portal. The park and amenities will be built on County owned property, located along North Mesa Park Road, as shown in Attachment 1.1 and Exhibit B - Project Location. The County intends for the design to incorporate inclusive and adaptive-friendly features that support riders of varied ages, abilities, and skill level. The selected design-build team must include a New Mexico-licensed engineer or architect and a New Mexico-licensed contractor qualified for the required scope of work.
While County is seeking Submissions from a wide range of licensed architects, a significant portion of the Project is anticipated to require an architect with specialized expertise in landscape design and development.
