INVITATION TO BID
SAFETY PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTING SERVICES

The PUD No. 1 of Whatcom County (“PUD”) hereby invites qualified professional safety consultants or safety consulting firms with qualifications and expertise to provide safety program management and consulting services to submit bid proposals to evaluate and develop a Safety Program as detailed in the Project Specifications. The successful consultant shall furnish a bill of material and plan of management in accordance with the specifications, provisions and terms and conditions of this request for proposal. Scope of Services are for delivery and utilization during calendar year 2026.

Sealed Bid Proposals, marked “Safety Program Management and Consulting Services”, will be received by the PUD (Attention: Mr. Chris Heimgartner), at 1705 Trigg Rd., Ferndale, Washington 98248, until 10:00 AM, PST, on February 16, 2025, thereafter being publicly opened and read.

The PUD reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, and to waive any informality in the bid or in the bidding process.

This contract is subject to Washington State Prevailing Wage Requirements (RCW 39.12).
Women or minority owned business enterprise participation is not a requirement of this project, however, involvement is encouraged.
