Maplewood Park Trail Improvements

Work items include, but are not limited to: paving an existing stone dust trail section, updates to trail signage and ADA crosswalk ramps, fence replacement, gorge embankment stabilization, and installation of an ADA-compliant pedestrian bypass of an existing staircase under the Driving Park Bridge. Two add alternates have also been included in the bid documents: resurfacing of existing asphalt trail leading to Hastings Street and Lower Falls Park, and realignment of the trail adjacent to the Bridge View Drive intersection.

A pre-bid conference will be held on March 4, 2025 at 10:00am in room 321B at City Hall, 30 Church Street, Rochester, New York 14614.

Sealed Proposals endorsed with the name of the Bidder and stating the Bidder’s address must be received by the Office of the Director of Purchasing/Purchasing Agent, City Hall Room 105-A, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the Bid opening. The Bid opening is scheduled at 2:00pm local time on March 18, 2025, at City Hall, 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened, read and recorded. When the Bidder submits their Bid, the Purchasing Office will inform the
Bidder of the room location where the Bids will be opened.
