Description: The State University of New York (SUNY) is the largest comprehensive system of higher education in the United States. Across the system, SUNY has four academic health centers, five hospitals, four medical schools, two dental schools, a law school, the country’s oldest school of maritime, the state’s only college of optometry, and manages one US Department of Energy National Laboratory. In total, there are more than three million SUNY alumni worldwide, and one in three New Yorkers with a college degree is a SUNY alum.
As a key driver of New York State’s strong economic, academic, and cultural success, SUNY plays a critical role on Executive, Governing and Advisory boards across the state and nation. SUNY is uniquely situated to capitalize on the array of graduates that are known to be exceptional leaders, conferred great benefit to society, and are proven to be of the highest caliber in professional and academic circles.
The Research Foundation for The State University of New York seeks to partner with a consulting firm to identify and engage SUNY alumni for service on prominent boards and committees including, but not limited to, SUNY governing boards, federal and state Executive boards and Advisory boards.
The consulting firm would identify and establish a repository of exceptional SUNY alum that are well positioned to represent SUNY in a variety of critical areas. The firm would be expected to require a broad portfolio that reflects the vast array of areas SUNY is involved in. The timeline for completion of this proposal is up to six months from the day a potential vendor is chosen with the possibility of extensions.

Contract Term: 2 years with one-year options and a cancellation for convenience clause Location: SUNY Ad Type: Discretionary procurements between $50,000 and $750,000
