Rappel Tower Inspe/Maint B+4 West Point FY25

This is a commercial requirement for a service contract base +4, that will provide

Yearly inspections, certifications and maintenance to insure trouble free and safe

operation of the Rappelling Tower located at South Dock, the anchor points at the

Pine Ridge Rappel site, the safety line at Stillwell Dam and the safe use of the Slide

for Life cable, Cargo Net and confidence Climb located at Camp Buckner, for the

members of the United States Corps of Cadets (USCC), located at West Point, NY

during one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The

services shall be provided in accordance with the Performance Work Statement –

(PWS). The customer is the United States Army Garrison West Point, Directorate of

Public Works (USAGWP-DPW). DPW supports the maintenance of the infrastructure

at West Point. This is a commercial service requirement to replace the previous contract

W911SD20P0154 to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision

necessary to perform inspection /maintenance on the rappel tower which involve

about five ranges, located at West Point, NY

Summary of Specifications

1. The contractor shall provide engineer/certified Rope Inspections on structures,

cables and anchors.

2. Perform Load/pull testing on rappel anchors, preventive maintenance and

certifications of Army training obstacles.

3. Painting/ water proofing and pressure washing rappel tower and air assault ramp

base.

4. Third year option remove and replace cargo climbing net

5. Remove and replace fall nets in base and 3rd option year.
