Synopsis:
|
|
The Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) and Ministry of Highways (MoH) intend to continue contracting with Points North Freight Forwarding Inc. on the basis that they are the only supplier able to provide the goods and services that meets MoH’s requirements. The MoH requires the supply, delivery, and onsite refueling of diesel for the Wollaston Lake Barge (km 230 on Highway 905).

GOS intends to purchase the supply, delivery and onsite refueling of diesel from Points North Freight Forwarding Inc. for the following reasons:

Points North Freight Forwarding Inc. is the only known supplier capable of delivering diesel fuel within one hour of request to Wollaston Lake Barge for urgent situations. The distance between the Wollaston Lake Barge and the location of Points North Freight Forwarding Inc. is approximately 40 kilometers; and
-
Wollaston Lake Barge is located in a remote area of Saskatchewan, approximately 465 km from La Ronge.
