The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, intends to issue a Commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following supplies:
The UTV must meet or exceed the minimum requirements listed below
1. 2 seat model (Only 2 seat model is acceptable)
2. 999 cc Displacement Engine / 100 Horsepower / Gasoline (Diesel engine is not acceptable)
3. Liquid Cooled
4. Fuel Injected
5. Automatic Transmission
6. 2 Wheel Drive with On-Demand 4 Wheel Drive
7. Rear Dumping Box with 600 lbs. capacity
8. 12 - inch ground clearance
9. Towing capacity of 1500 lbs.
10. 4- Wheel Hydraulic Disc Brakes
11. Parking Brake
12. 8-ply Tires on both front and rear
13. 15-inch Aluminum Wheels
14. Fully enclosed Cab including rear window
15. Glass Windshield
16. Hinged Window Full Doors
17. Windshield Wipers and Washer System
18. Rear View Mirror
19. Cab Heater and Defrost System
20. Front and rear LED Lighting
21. Metal front and rear Bumpers
22. 4,500 lb. Winch with Rapid Rope Recovery
23. Synthetic Rope on the Winch
24. 72-inch Steel Snowplow
25. Hydraulic Snowplow Angle Control in the Cab
Delivery of the UTV to Boysen Dam/Power Plant shall be included in Quotation.
Delivery location is Bureau of Reclamation, 11401 Highway 20, Shoshoni, WY 82649. FOB Destination of all supplies with an anticipated delivery date on or before May 29, 2026.
It is anticipated that the simplified acquisition set aside will be a Total Small Business with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation criteria.
It is anticipated that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on or about 24 February 2026 via the SAM.gov website.
It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the SAM.gov web page for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments.
The product service code is 2340 and the NAICS code is 336991.
HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations are not requested and will not be accepted from this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
It is required that all companies are to be actively registered in SAM.gov prior to submitting a quotation for this solicitation.
