RFP - Request For Proposal
Description
The Los Angeles Harbor Department Construction and Maintenance Division is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide specialized professional and technical services. These services include conducting vessel rescue, towing, storage, hazardous cleanup, pump-outs, inventories, marine surveys, lien sales, demolition and disposal of impounded and/or disabled vessels. The awarded contractor will be required to maintain a minimum quantity of six berthing slips, each with a minimum capacity of 42 feet by 30 feet. These six slips will ensure that the contractor can support the needs of the port for the above-mentioned operations.
The duration of the contract awarded as a result of this RFP is expected to be three (3) years from the date of execution of the agreement.
