Virtue Road/Boyd Station Road, from South of Needlegrass Lane to Willow Cove Way
Farragut, Knox County
The Town of Farragut seeks professional services from qualified property acquisition and appraisal firms to support a roadway improvement project at Virtue Road and Boyd Station Road. The project encompasses grading, paving, signage, and intersection enhancements, requiring the acquisition of Right of Way, permanent drainage easements, slope easements, and construction easements across approximately 23 tracts.
To accomplish these tasks, the Town will select three separate firms, each responsible for one of the following key property acquisition functions:
-
Appraisal Preparation: Develop property appraisals and market data brochures for necessary acquisitions.
-
Appraisal Review: Review and validate the appraisals prepared for Right of Way acquisitions.
-
Property Owner Negotiations: Conduct negotiations with property owners, including associated closing activities, to secure the required property interests.
All consultants must coordinate property acquisition activities with the TDOT Right of Way offices and ensure full compliance with the most recent editions of the TDOT Right of Way Manual and the TDOT Local Government Guidelines for the Management of Federal and State Funded Transportation Projects. Invoicing and payment for consulting services will be managed by the Town of Farragut, following TDOT’s established guidelines.
Interested firms should submit a qualifications-based proposal to The Town of Farragut, Procurement Division, Anissa Pratte, 11408 Municipal Center Dr., Farragut, TN 37934. Submissions must clearly indicate which of the three services—appraisal preparation, appraisal review, or negotiations/purchases—the firm proposes to provide. The Town will assess all proposals based on qualifications and may enter into contract negotiations with one selected firm for each function. Each responding firm will be notified of the outcome of the evaluation process.
