Description

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Seiler Instruments of Omaha Nebraska, 6522 South 118th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68137. The purpose of this acquisition is for Survey Grade GPS Units (one Trimble R12i Model 60 No 3G ROW, one Trimble R12i Configuration Level - R12i Base and Rover Mode, one Trimble R12i Option - NMEA outputs, four Trimble TSC5 controller - WWAN Worldwide region, four TPP - Loyalty Program - Trimble Access (12 month expiration), four TSC5 / TSC7 Quick Release Pole Mount Clamp with Adjustable Arm, four Rod - 2.5m Carbon Fiber Telescopic Range Pole without Bipod, and one Geospatial Continental CenterPoint RTX 1 Year 12 months).



The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source (1) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.



A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this single source action. The NAICS code is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS.



Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 2 pm CDT on 7 April 2025, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
