Resonant Sciences LLC has developed, built, delivered, and demonstrated the capabilities of the RAZR Systems to the U.S. Government. They are the only known source that has demonstrated the manufacturing capabilities of a RAZR System and its unique software-driven measurement system, as outlined below, to meet the requirements specified in Section III for the LRSO system. This RAZR system employs a software driven robotic arm to position the antenna array within 0.1 inches, achieving repeatable measurements with an accuracy of better than 0.05 degrees in both azimuth and elevation. Resonant Sciences has also proven via testing the RAZR aligns the unit under test for repeatable measurements and has collected accurate RCS measurements and then used a software to accurately match the RCS data. The RAZR utilizes a Radar System on a robotic arm and omni-directional base to generate very high resolution 2D and 3D RCS images. The RAZR integrates a state-of- the-art optical scanning capability to utilize the system under test as a reference. The LOPARS can be configured horizontally to collect high speed 2D synthetic aperture radar measurements with no mechanical movement. The RAZR can be utilized in a static configuration, a static configuration with an actuated arm for increased aperture size, or in a dynamic mode where the entire system traverses the aperture extent in traditional mobile measurement vehicle style collection. The software is setup to operate in a simplified operational collection mode for technicians or in an advanced engineering mode which provides the user more flexibility and diagnostic capabilities. RAZR is capable of making high resolution 3D RCS measurements with the LOPARS rotated by the robotic arm into a vertical configuration to collect elevation data. RAZR can also be used in a static configuration with the target rotating (Inverse SAR). The RAZR system also includes the required safety features (safety scanners, proximity sensors, emergency stops, and operator enable buttons) built into the system design to ensure safety of personnel and equipment from injury or damage.
