One (1) Heat Treat Furnace

DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to award multiple contracts which will be firm-fixed price under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 16.506(f) Single or Multiple Awards, in solicitations for indefinite-quantity contracts that may result in multiple contract awards. The awards shall be based on a best value tradeoff between Past Performance and Price, where Past Performance and Price are approximately equal in importance.

Description of requirements: One (1) Horizontal Loading Air Furnace, Water Quench Tank, and accessories in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-40-1000 dated 08 May 2024. Performance period/completion 365 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, OK 73145. The complete technical data package VIBB 23-40-1000 including Machine, Machine Tool Accessories, Technical Data, Shipping, Installation, Training, IUID Tag, and Foundation requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. The attached J&A will contain information regarding the Brand Name requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302(c)(2) for One (1) Eurotherm – 3504 Temperature Controller, One (1) Honeywell – UDC 2500 Over-Temperature Controller, and One (1) Yokogawa – GX20 with 1E/MT/MC/UH/C3/E1/E3/AH/AS Options Chart Recorder. The multiple awards may be in combination of CLINS 0001-0004 and CLIN 0005 being a standalone award. Vendor’s may quote on 1) all CLINs; 2) CLINS 0001-0004 only; or 3) CLIN 0005 only. All offers will be evaluated on a total price basis of CLINs 0001-0004 and CLIN 0005.

All responsible sources may submit a proposal sufficient to determine capability which may be considered by the agency. Proposals must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov). All proposals received after the closing date listed shall be considered “late” and may not be considered for award.
