This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Vendors shall not submit a quote until the solicitation is posted to www.SAM.gov.
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has the following requirements:
DoDEA requires digital resources for English Language Arts grade 9-12 that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards, which DoDEA refers to as its College and Career Ready Standards. DoDEA also requires related product training, virtual professional learning, and industry-standard technical support.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513130 (Book Publishers), and the applicable PSC is 7610 (Books and Pamphlets). Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes.
DoDEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE125425QE034 in support of this requirement. This requirement will be procured using FAR Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial and Services, and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be competed as Full and Open Competition.
The anticipated award contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. DoDEA expects to make one award for a 5-year base period and 1 option year, however researves the right to make multiple awards.
The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 03/17/2025 and an award date on or about 05/16/2025.
