Bus Transportation Services for Children

Project Description: Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department (PRD) requires a qualified Contractor to provide ongoing and as-needed round-trip bus transportation services for children enrolled in the Head Start Program. The children, aged four (4) to five (5) years old, will be transported from various Head Start facilities to other sites where they will receive swimming lessons for approximately one (1) hour, after which they will be transported back to their assigned Head Start facilities. The Contractor shall accommodate scheduling changes and service adjustments, including but not limited to changes in site locations, dates, and times. Please see Attachment A – Example Transportation Schedule for an approximation of transportation needs. An official transportation schedule shall be provided to the Contractor upon award. The estimated project budget is $145,406.25.
