2.0 BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE
The 766th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (766 ESS) is conducting market research to identify potential and eligible small business sources capable of performing specialized demolition and site restoration at the "Field of Dreams" playground located between Vickers and Worthington on JBPHH.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the following:
Remove all zip line equipment.
Cut equipment at the top of the concrete footer OR remove surface mount bolts and anchors.
Ensure existing concrete footers, safety surfacing, and curbing remain intact and undamaged.
Reinstall foam/buffings underlayment to restore site integrity.
Patch specialized turf surfacing to provide a smooth surface completely free of tripping and fall hazards in accordance with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Public Playground Safety Handbook.
Remove and properly dispose of all demolished and scrap materials off the installation.
3.0 SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
Interested firms are requested to complete the attached Capability Statement (Attachment 1). Responses should clearly demonstrate the firm's experience with precision demolition and specialized playground safety surfacing.
