Please join us December 11th, 2024, for an Industry Day hosted by the Louisville District, United States Army Corps of Engineers, to discuss the Fort Knox, KY Aviation Support Facility project.





The proposed project is for the construction (Design/Bid/Build) of an approximately 132,000 SF Aviation Support Facility (ASF) at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. The project will meet the standards of the current design requirements which include Aircraft Maintenance Hangar, Administrative Offices, Aircraft Structural Repair, Aircraft Power Plant Repair, Electrical/Avionics Repair, Blade Repair, Supply Warehouse, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) covered storage, Associated Support Items of Equipment (ASIOE) covered storage, POL/HAZMAT storage building, and hangar access aprons. Project also includes fire protection and alarm systems, information systems, intrusion detection system installation, and energy monitoring control systems connection. Sustainability, Energy and Cybersecurity measures are included. Demolish, replace, and relocate the existing military equipment park/organizational vehicle parking. Supporting facilities include selective demolition, site development, utilities and connections, exterior lighting, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping, security fencing, and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained system. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related to interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Air Conditioning (Estimated at 666 kWr/189 Tons). Dispose/Demolish 2 buildings at Fort Knox, KY (3,384 Total SF).

REGISTRATIONS: System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.

If a single vehicle occupant, scan DOD ID card or visitor pass at the gate lane's pedestal. If more than one vehicle occupant, proceed directly to gate guard with all occupants presenting all required visitor passes/other valid IDs for installation access.

      • Go to the Fort Knox Visitor Center and either use a kiosk or visit a manned window to obtain up to a 1-year visitor pass. With a visitor pass in hand, proceed directly to one of the three primary entrance gates. If a single vehicle occupant, scan visitor pass at the gate lane's pedestal. If more than one vehicle occupant, proceed directly to gate guard with all occupants presenting all required visitor passes/other valid IDs for installation access. The gate hours of operation are listed below.














      • Alternatively, one may visit https://visit.gvt.us/?b=usa&i=knox&t=v to obtain a 5-day Fast Pass (Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari browser recommended).


        • Pass can only be requested a maximum of 30 days in advance of one’s visit date.

        • Registrant’s driver’s license serves as the pass. With driver’s license in hand, proceed directly to one of the three primary entrance gates. Be prepared to provide driver's license/ID to gate guard, with all other occupants presenting all required visitor passes/other valid IDs for installation access.














    • Individuals with a valid state-issued ID card (non-driver’s license):


      • Go to the Fort Knox Visitor Center and either use a kiosk or visit a manned window to obtain up to a 1-year visitor pass. With a visitor pass in hand, proceed directly to one of the three primary entrance gates.

      • Alternatively, one may visit https://visit.gvt.us/?b=usa&i=knox&t=v to obtain a 5-day Fast Pass (Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari browser recommended).
