Notice is hereby given, Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) located in State College, PA, is soliciting bids for proposed office fit-out work at their operations facility located at 2081 W. Whitehall Road, State College, PA.
Bid Documents are available beginning July 24, 2025 by contacting PennBid’s website using the project title “CATA Office Fit-Out". (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/projects/195850/details)
Bid packages will be received for the following contracts:
Contract No. CATA07012025-1: General Construction
Contract No. CATA07012025-2: Mechanical Construction
Contract No. CATA07012025-3: Electrical Construction
The deadline for bid submissions is 2:00pm local time on August 14, 2025. Limited bid information will be publicly available at this time and date. Once reviewed for completeness, full bid information will be available on PennBid. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID meeting will be held at the project site on August 07, 2025, at 2:00pm local time. A virtual Pre-Bid Meeting option will also be provided to those contractors who download the project documents.
CATA encourages the use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in all contracts. Any certified DBE’S proposed by the bidder must be fully utilized with adequate documentation provided by the selected bidder to satisfy PennDOT requirements. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this project.
