145th Kardex Relocation and Calibration Intent to Sole Source

The 145th Airlift Wing Contracting office intends to award a sole source to Kardex Remstar for the disassembly, relocation, reinstallation, and calibration of (2) Kardex machines from building 4 CTK to building 51 CTK03.

Kardex Remstar is the exclusive authorized government sales and service dealer for all equipment in North Carolina, who can relocate and calibrate the Kardex machines. As such competing this requirement on the open market is not reasonable.

There will be no written solicitation issued. This procurement is being made pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source. All qualified sources must respond no later than the date and time specified under General Information within this special notice.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
