The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate and award FY27-31 LCS Freedom Class Radars (AN/SPS-75, AN/SPS-80, Sharp Eye) sustainment requirements on a sole source basis to Northern Defense Industries, LLC (NDI), 649 S Washington ST Alexandria, Virginia. The requirements consist of procurement of material and spares, software maintenance, engineering support labor, engineering changes, product improvements, documentation, testing, training, logistics analyses, technical investigations, installation support, and other radar maintenance/repair actions for the LCS Freedom Class Radar systems.
The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2) (iii)(B).
Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact NDI directly. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
