Project Description: This project consists of the decommissioning of Runway 14/32 at Salt Lake City International Airport, including the milling removal of existing pavement from Taxiway P to its intersection with Runway 17/35. The scope includes backfilling, placement of topsoil, and seeding to restore the area. Additionally, the remaining section of Runway 14/32 between Taxiway P and Q, will be repurposed as the new Taxiway J. The scope includes removal of existing runway pavement markings, placement of new taxiway regulatory markings, airfield lighting, and signage to meet operational standards. The project aims to enhance airport safety and efficiency while ensuring compliance with FAA requirements.
