REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PROPOSALS FOR4/0 PRIMARY UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL WIRE FOR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM EXPANSION

The City of Saint Peter, Department of Public Works, Electric Utility is requesting formal written proposals for the following materials/equipment.

Three (3) reels of primary underground wire. Specifications as follows: 2,500’ reels (+/- 10%), 4/0 stranded, 15KV, EPR, 220ml, reduced concentric neutral, and insulating jacket. Jacket marking shall include manufacturer, conductor, insulation, voltage, NESC electric cable symbol, red stripe, and footage.

Please indicate which manufacturer and product quoted. Acceptable manufacturers include: Okonite, Kerite, Prysmian, and General Cable. Firm pricing if available.

Proposal on company letterhead must include the following information cost per foot, total cost, freight, and expected arrival date in Saint Peter. No Friday, Saturday, Sunday deliveries and 48-hour notice prior. The City of Saint Peter is tax exempt.

Complete and return this written proposal in addition to a proposal on your company letter head.
