This is a Sources Sought Notice Only for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. This IS NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, requests for bids or quotations, nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this Request for Information is to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes only.

Product Service Code: 8415 - Clothing, Special Purpose

This requirement is to provide and deliver police uniforms, footwear and other ancillary police equipment (to include body armor) and provide alterations (sewing and embroidery) services in accordance with Bureau of Engraving and Printing packaging requirements. Additional options for uniform items, equipment and alterations will be included. The contractor shall perform to the standards of the requirement.

The contractor shall provide the following services:

• Measuring and/or sizing for uniform pants, shirts, hats, sweaters, coats, shoes, boots, and body armor.


• Tailoring/hemming/alterations of all uniform items include shirts, pants, sweaters and coats to include sewing on the following:

NOTE: Placement diagram for uniform patches, badges, nametapes, chevrons, and insignia will be provided at time of award. All items listed will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide.

Qualified Off-site vendor shall be located within thirty (30) miles of BEP WCF facility.
