24 2013 Demolition of City Owned Structures

This RFSO ( Request for Standing Offer) is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to the Submission Deadline that they are prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories:

C7400203 Demolition

OR
C7400100 Hazardous Material Abatement

The City requires experienced and qualified construction firms to perform hazard abatement, demolition, disposal of debris and remaining contents, backfilling and grading for City owned structures that require demolitions within The City of Calgary.

Subject to Section 6.4 of the RFSO, The City intends to invite up to Five (5) of the highest scoring Respondent(s) to enter into the Master Agreement, which will govern the potential subsequent provision of the Work pursuant to an invitational second stage Call-Up Process.

The City intends to enter into a Master Agreement with each of the Selected Respondents for a term of Three (3) years (the “Master Agreement Term”).

Bid documents are accepted only via Ariba. Failure to submit bid documents via Ariba will result in a non compliant bid. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations
