This effort addresses component obsolescence and ensures continued mission readiness across the global F-16 fleet. The program requires industry partners with demonstrated expertise in military-grade power conversion systems, established design and manufacturing capabilities, and proven track record in avionics qualification programs. Successful contractors must possess the technical resources, facilities, and program management infrastructure to execute complete product development lifecycle from preliminary design through airworthiness certification.
