IFB # 2057-03 Mechanical Ventilation of Units and Window Replacement at Alice Taylor Development

Note: only prequalified filed sub-contractors and prequalified general contractors from BHA RFQ No. 2057-02 are eligible to bid for this BHA IFB No. 2057-03.
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites sealed bids for Mechanical Ventilation of Units and Window Replacement at Alice Taylor Development, BHA Job # 2057-03, prepared by Socotec AE Consulting, LLC. The total construction cost is estimated at $13,704,745. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 56 Chauncy Street.
Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

Filed sub-bid applies to 1) Waterproofing estimated $698,600; 2) Painting estimated $460,650; 3) HVAC estimated $1,241,673; and 4) Electrical estimated $513,830.

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J.
Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.
