| Description: | Notice to Bidders The City of Sanford and TriRiver Water invite sealed bids for the Rehabilitation of Enterprise Park Drive Project. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, approximately 1.51 miles of full-depth reclamation of the roadway between Womack Road (SR 1464) and Colon Road (SR 1415), with the following specifics: • Full Depth Reclamation of the existing asphalt roadway structure. • Laying 12 inches of Portland cement treated ‘CABC’ base material. • Installing an intermediate course of 4 inches of Type I-19.0C asphalt concrete. • Applying 2 inches of S-9.5C asphalt concrete as the surface course. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bidder’s name, address, and North Carolina contractor license number. All bids must include a bid deposit equal to 5% of the total bid amount, in accordance with N.C. General Statutes 143-129. Bid documents and detailed project specifications are available for inspection at the Engineering Department of the City of Sanford. To obtain a full set of bid documents or to submit questions, please send a request via email to bidopportunities@tririverwater.com, clearly stating the project title in the subject line. In order to properly respond to all questions, the final date to submit questions is 5 calendar days before the closing date. The City of Sanford and TriRiver Water reserve the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the public, per the North Carolina General Statutes. |
