II. BACKGROUND

The Secretary of the Air Force has designated the achievement of operationally-optimized Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS)—the DAF’s contribution to Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2)—as an operational imperative. The Shadow Operations Center – Nellis (ShOC-N) is the DAF’s primary location for ABMS and CJADC2 experimentation. Previous feedback was provided to increase engagements and integration with industry and emphasize TTP development for dynamic target kill chain automation.

III. SPECIFIC INFORMATION OF INTEREST

A. Problem Statement:

In order to experiment with solutions aimed at increasing battle management decision speed and quality to win the pacing fight, existing fielded systems and new prototypes require integration for data sharing, decision automation, and timeline compression. The focus areas for the 505 CCW Open House to Industry Day at ShOC-N 12 Dec 2024 is dynamic targeting and kill chain automation with specific interest in solutions in automated decision tools and distribution for intelligence, Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and battle management fielded systems and new prototypes. In addition, automated experimentation data collection and analytics remains a challenge and available for industry’s awareness and/or inputs. The end result is successful integration of new capabilities in order to build new TTPs for decision advantage against a pacing challenge.

B. Request for Information:

Please submit any responses via email to 805CTS.DOX.CAPSTONE@US.AF.MIL. The conference is at the Shadow Operations Center – Nellis, 3663 Tyndall Avenue, Building 202, Nellis AFB, NV 89191. The draft agenda is:

0730-0830 PST: Badging, coffee, social hour

0830-1000 PST: ShOC Capstone Overview for TTP development with C2 automation

1000-1130 PST: Transformational Modeling for Battle Management Experiment

The intent for the experiment is to expose industry members to an unclassified version for a visceral and experience-based understanding of the pain points and challenges. The framework for the morning is brief, execute, and rotate industry members through an experiment.

1130-1300 PST: Working Lunch/TM-BM/ShOC Debrief/Q&A

The intent of Q&A are based on submissions.

IV. SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

A. Due Date: 31 Oct 2024 via email at 805CTS.DOX.CAPSTONE@US.AF.MIL. No formal responses are required. Personnel registration is required by 31 Oct 2024; however, if base access is needed, please register directly with ShOC-N Security Manager.
