IL ARMY NATIONAL GUARD FORKLIFTS

The IL ARNG USPFO requires the acquisition of four material handling forklifts to support operations at two warehouse sites and multiple arenas of space around Illinois. These forklifts must meet durability, operational, and safety requirements aligned with military logistics operations.

Total Units Required:

- 1x Diesel Forklift – 36,000 lb capacity

- 1x Diesel Forklift – 8,000 lb capacity

- 2x Electric Forklifts – 4,000 lb capacity

Salient Charactereistics

1x Rough Terrain Forklift (36,000 lb Capacity):

- Lifting Capacity: Minimum 36,000 lbs at 48” load center

- Power: Diesel engine, Tier 4 compliant

- Mast: 2-stage or 3-stage, min 20 ft lift height

- Forks: 96" minimum length, adjustable, internal scale added ,

- Tires: Pneumatic, off-road, 4WD capable

- Attachments: Side shift & fork positioner

- Operator Cab: Enclosed with AC/heater, ROPS

- Safety: Backup alarm, LED lights, fire extinguisher

-Forklift shall be equipped with fully hydraulic mast functions including lift, tilt, side shift and hydraulic fork positioner. A digital scale system integrated with the fork carriage shall be included on the 36K unit. Joystick control system preferred for consolidated hydraulic operation

2x Electric Forklift (4,000 lb Capacity):

- Lifting Capacity: 4,000 lbs

- Power: 36V or 48V electric, industrial battery included

- Mast: 3-stage, min 15 ft lift height

- Tires: Cushion or solid (indoor warehouse use)

- Attachments: Side shift

- Charger: Smart charger included

-Forklift shall be equipped with fully hydraulic mast functions including lift, tilt, side shift and hydraulic fork positioner.

1x Diesel Forklift (8,000 lb Capacity):

- Lifting Capacity: 8,000 lbs at 48” load center

- Power: Diesel, Tier 4 Final compliant

- Mast: 3-stage, 20 ft minimum lift height

- Tires: Pneumatic

- Attachments: Side shift

-Operator Cab: Enclosed with AC/heater, ROPS

-Forklift shall be equipped with fully hydraulic mast functions including lift, tilt, side shift and hydraulic fork positioner

-Warranty & Service: Minimum 5-year service plan (parts & labor); warranty documentation must be included

-All units must be compliant with federal emissions standards and meet sustainability goals outlined by the QRP program.

We intend to hold an industry day for potential vendors to demonstate their equipments capablity. This insty day will be held sometime in September 2025 @ Illinois army National Guard Headquarters (Camp Lincoln) 1301 N. Macarthur Blvd, Springfield, IL 62702.
