    NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
    FOR AUDITING SERVICES
    RFP NO. 2026-33
    The City of Paterson is soliciting Proposals from interested persons and/or firms for
    the provision of Auditing Services. Through a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) process, persons
    and/or firms interested in assisting the City with the provision of such services must prepare
    and submit a Proposal in accordance with the procedure and schedule set forth in the
    applicable RFP. The City will review Proposals only from those persons and/or firms that
    submit a timely Proposal containing all information required by the City as set forth in the
    applicable RFP. The City intends to qualify persons and/or firms that (a) possess the
    professional, financial and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services, and
    (b) agree to and meet the terms and conditions determined by the City.
    The selection of qualified persons and/or firms is not subject to the bidding provisions
    of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., but is to be guided by the “New
    Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play” Law, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The City has structured a
    procurement process that seeks to obtain the desired results, while establishing a competitive,
    fair and open process, to ensure that each person and/or firm is provided an equal
    opportunity to submit a Proposal in response to the RFP.

    January 1, 2026, the complete text of each legal notice is required to be published by the

    Request for Proposal May be obtained from: City Hall, 4th Fl., Purchasing Division,
    155 Market Street, Paterson, NJ 07505 Tel: 973-321-1340. To obtain a RFP package Email
    your request to purchasing@patersonnj.gov (Reproduction or Redistribution of the
    contents of this proposal package by a party other than the City of Paterson is strictly
    prohibited). Any Request for Proposal package that was Not Obtain from the City of
    Paterson Purchasing Division will not be considered
    Proposals must be delivered to, and be received by, Harry Cevallos, Purchasing Agent,
    City of Paterson, 155 Market Street, 4th Floor, Paterson, New Jersey 07505 on or before 11:00
    a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope,
    bearing the name and address of the Vendor and identifying the services the Vendor seeks to
    provide. Proposals will not be accepted by facsimile transmission or e-mail. Proposals received
    after 11:00 a.m. on July 15, 2026 will be automatically rejected and returned to the sender.
